Tools for manicure and pedicure
Girls begin to learn nail care at the age of 5-6 years. And the point is not in fashionable manicure, but in competent care. The cuticle area looks beautiful, the surface has a pleasant appearance, the free parts of the nail plates are clean, and the gnawed ends disappear forever from a girl's life.
Under the guidance of mom, future ladies are beginning to learn that proper nail care requires a considerable manicure arsenal. Reaching puberty, they already take care of their hands and feet on their own, often using their mother's kits.
An adult girl is fundamentally armed with knowledge about beauty tools and can already pass on knowledge to the younger generation. This is how real women appear, from the hair to the tips of the nails!
Basic manicure tools
- Scissors
- To remove cuticles. This option is used less and less, preferring an unedged manicure with softening and subsequent removal of the growths on the hole with a wooden stick. However, for those who want to use the mechanical method of dealing with cuticles, we advise you to select products from heat-hardened steel. The product has enough clearance to cut the cuticle without stretching.
An unusual, but "accustomed" accessory is a tweezer. These are tweezers with blades on the edges. Also in use is the “dovetail”, which has a bifurcation of miniature blades, which is used when cutting burrs and cuticles.
A scraper with a hatchet is another couple that can lift extra growths in the rooted zone and push back. If they are combined into one product, then they are called a pusher. A curette will help to clean the alveolar segment from dust, dirt and machining.
- For cutting nails. Wider products are available with straight ends (for cutting hard nails) and rounded ones. For kids, analogues with non-sharp ends, designed specifically for this age category, are suitable.
- Nippers are nail clippers. Convenient pocket version called "knipser".
- Nail files are used to obtain the desired shape for trimmed nails and to clean the top of the nail. The higher the degree of abrasiveness, the more gentle treatment can be carried out. There are nail files for extended and natural nails. The hardest buffs file acrylic nails, and soft buffs are used to form a natural shine. In shape, they are oval, angular and block.
According to the material, the nail files are divided into metal (due to diamond coating, they must be used with caution to avoid delamination of nails), ceramic (nails are treated very carefully) and glass (you can use them without restriction). Less well-known, but very functional laser options are considered. They are capable of simultaneously sawing in different directions. In the set, each girl should have 2-3 nail files with different abrasives.
What is required for a pedicure
- Scissors. Straight blades are selected wider than in manicure products. High-quality sharpening facilitates the workflow, preventing strong pressure and biting of nails.
- File (grater) for feet. Its purpose is to remove dead skin layers, restore smoothness and natural color to the heels.
- The roller version is the most convenient, as it uses the energy of current or batteries. The rotating part with an abrasive has a deep impact, so it is better to use such a tool no more than once a week or two.
Diamond saw blade made of steel. The use of several types of abrasive coating allows you to choose the most suitable thing (depending on the condition of the heels). In addition to cleaning from old cells, the tool is able to polish the skin.
Salon. Most often used by craftsmen, but can also be purchased for personal use. Several modes of operation of the electrical device will help to cope with corns, corns. Natural material will not harm the skin, and with constant use it will significantly improve the appearance of the feet.
In addition to flat and roller options, there is a double-sided counterpart. On the one hand, a pumice stone or a metal rasp is made on it, removing old skin, and on the other, a surface with fine sandpaper.

Finger dispenser. The device is used for more convenient contact and its functionality is to separate the fingers from each other.
Most hand and foot care procedures are carried out after water procedures, so the cosmetic industry has taken care of the production of containers for manicure and pedicure baths.
For men, this range may seem excessive. But, dear representatives of the stronger sex, do you want to see your "half" well-groomed and attractive? And this is not a gift of nature, but an inconspicuous and regular work on your appearance. Do not forbid your ladies to purchase manicure and pedicure tools that every woman needs so much!
