Step 1:

Start by prepping your brows for shaving. First, take a warm shower to soften the hair on your eyebrows. When you use warm water to bathe, the steam from the shower gently opens the hair follicles and pores. As a result, it becomes easier to remove hairs and properly shape the eyebrows.

Step 2:

Now moisturize the area around the eyebrows. You can use regular face moisturizer or even body lotion. Apply it to the creases of the eyelids and the top of the eyebrows. The area between the eyebrows should also be moisturized. This will protect your skin while you shave. In addition, the hairs will be nourished and become visually fuller, which will make the shaving process easier.

Step 3:

Now it's time to draw the "stencil" for the perfect use of the brow razor. To do this, you will need a cosmetic pencil. Comb your eyebrows and draw a clear outline of the desired brow curve with a dark pencil. The area filled in with the pencil will be your guide as you shave, and this way you will most likely not shave off any extra hairs.

Step 4:

If you're going to shave your eyebrows, don't go for a regular disposable razor. Instead, opt for a special thin razor with a very sharp blade.

If you can't find a brow razor for sale, you can use a bikini hair removal tool as a last resort. This razor is also quite small and easy to use.

Step 5:

Once you have your tool ready, start shaping your eyebrows with a razor. First, remove the thin strands of hair growing between the eyebrows (right above the nose). To do this, you must hold the razor straight perpendicular. Do this with light strokes, moving the razor from one side to the other (horizontal sweep) in the opposite direction of hair growth.

Step 6:

Now take care of the hairs above the eyebrows. At this stage, you should be especially careful, because it is the highest points, the so-called "arches" of the eyebrows, that form their beautiful bend. Move the razor clearly along the contour, which is marked with a pencil, in short, clear movements. Don't apply too much pressure to press the razor against your skin.

Step 7:

Once you've finished shaping both brows, take another look at them. They should look even and symmetrical from all sides. If there are sticking hairs, just cut them off with nail scissors.

Step 8:

Finally, wipe the area around the eyes with a cotton pad soaked in warm water, and apply a moisturizer or eyebrow gel. It will keep the perfect shape of your eyebrows by holding the hairs in place.

Will my eyebrows get thicker if I shave them?

Visually yes! Whereas brow waxing or tweezing allows hair to grow back with thin, pointed edges, shaving creates blunt edges, which makes the brow hairs appear thicker.
