Although some of my friends managed to use an ordinary magnet for this design! :) But, as you already understood, in any case, we cannot do without a magnet, because it is thanks to it that the desired effect is achieved.

The final step is to apply a top coat, which will enhance the pattern and protect the varnish from damage and chips.

Secrets of creating the perfect cat-eye manicure

Any technology in manicure requires certain skills, therefore, before you start creating a cat-eye manicure, you should properly prepare.

First, before you start, you need to determine the desired color. I recommend going for dark colors like black, dark purple and green. The effect of the "cat's eye" is best manifested on a dark saturated base and will look the most advantageous and interesting.

Secondly, I advise you to refrain from excessive adornment. Such a coating in itself looks unusual and original, and does not need additional accessories.

It is worth covering each nail separately, so that the gel polish does not dry out ahead of time. If the coating dries on the nails, it will no longer be possible to create the effect of a "cat's eye".

As I already indicated a little higher, you should bring the magnetic plate as close to the nails as possible. But this does not mean that it should be in contact with varnish. If the magnet touches the coating, the created pattern will be damaged. Also, do not hold the magnet over the nail for more than 15 seconds, as this will only negatively affect the final result. If you still want to further decorate the cat-eye manicure, I advise you to choose the design that best matches with such a coating. For example, you can depict the skin of a reptile or make a design in the form of a night sky.
