Magnetic eyelashes
I have pretty good natural lashes, but I'm constantly looking for new ways to add length and volume to it. Today I want to tell you about a tool that recently just blew up social networks - magnetic eyelashes .
Innovations in the field of beauty do not stand still and often delight us with interesting new products. But the application of the laws of physics to fix eyelashes is definitely a curiosity for me. :) For the first time, I learned about magnetic eyelashes thanks to a video in one of the social networks, in which a girl, with almost one movement of her hand, turned her mediocre eyelashes into voluminous and long ones. And the lashes looked quite natural! Of course, this interested me not only as a consumer, but also as a master, and I decided to check in practice what a miracle it is. :)
What the magnetic eyelashes are?
These are false lashes that are handcrafted from quality synthetic fibers and are attached to your own lashes with two micro magnets .
As planned by the manufacturers, you can create a more expressive lash line in just a few seconds, without the use of glue. Advantages of magnetic eyelashes:
- Ease of application
- natural look
- Suitable for any eye shape
- Resistant enough. Magnetic technology keeps lashes securely in place until you want to take it off.
- Unlike regular false lashes that are attached with glue, magnetic lashes can be removed and put on as many times as needed to achieve the perfect look.
Are magnetic eyelashes safe for the eyes?
Original magnetic eyelashes are officially considered safe for everyday use, as no side effects have been found from its use. Since the design is glue-free, it won't irritate your eyes or harm your natural lashes (at least that's what the manufacturer claims). But of course, as with any new product, people with pre-existing eye problems should consult their doctor before using magnetic eyelashes.
How to fix magnetic eyelashes
Everything is easy enough in the instructions, but here the fun begins! :) In practice, everything is not as simple as the manufacturers say. In this case, as the saying goes, you need to fill your hand. The hardest part for me was getting the top of the magnetic lashes to line up with my own lashes. Sometimes I thought I did it right, but when I closed my eyes, it was noticeable that the eyelashes were at least a millimeter from where they should be to look natural.
Oh, to be honest, after suffering for the first time with eyelashes on magnets for about 20 minutes (and mentally hating that girl from the video), I was already ready to drop this idea and become one of those who left a negative review about this product. But then a miracle happened and I was able to fix them successfully. :)
Can magnetic eyelashes be dyed?
Eyelashes itself cannot be dyed directly, because this can damage their properties and quickly render them unusable. But manufacturers advise that before fixing false eyelashes, apply a layer of mascara to your natural eyelashes so that it merges in color with artificial eyelashes. Also, it is quite possible to use the usual eye makeup, including eye shadow and eyeliner.
If, when removing magnetic eyelashes, you notice traces of makeup on these, simply remove it with a damp cloth.
How to choose magnetic eyelashes
At the moment, there are several types of magnetic eyelashes on sale, which differ in length and density, and are suitable for all eye shapes. Since it's attached to the outer half of your lash line, their design is almost universal.
My opinion on this product is mixed. I liked the idea itself, and the lack of glue to fix the eyelashes. But for me personally, the process of applying it seemed complicated and lengthy. In addition, in comparison with conventional false eyelashes, the price is quite “biting”. The cost of one original set of such miracle eyelashes reaches $60. But if you want to diversify your daily beauty ritual with something interesting and "technological", you can indulge yourself with this interesting product.
