How to reduce manicure time
Service "Pilochka" strives to be useful not only to customers, but also to our dear colleagues. Therefore, today I will tell you how to reduce the time of a manicure without losing its quality.
We all want to work faster. To be less tired, have more free time, or vice versa, have a tight record, and earn more. Therefore, I decided to share with you some "tricks" that will help manicure masters save time and make their work easier.
Job evaluation
So the first advice is a correct analysis of the situation. At this stage, you should assess the condition of the client's nails: are there any cracks, are there any delaminations, are there any indications for repair, what materials will we need in order to carry out the service. Be sure to find out the preferences and expectations of the person. Also at this stage, we immediately form a color scheme, as well as pre-form the desired design, and outline the scale and phased work plan so that we do not go astray during the manicure process, and carry out a quality service on each nail in turn.
Those masters who do not attach due importance to the preliminary stage have probably already noticed that during the manicure process they have to go from one corner of the office to another in order to collect additional materials, and this takes a lot of time.
Order and organization of the workplace
There are a huge number of aspects that will affect the speed of your work and its convenience. This is the width of the table, and the height of the chair, and the lighting from a certain side - all these are important factors. This has been said countless times by everyone and everywhere, in any courses, in many training videos, but the masters still neglect this moment and spend more time on work, because it is very difficult to establish a workflow in chaos.
First you need to properly organize the space. Drawers, shelves, organizers - all this will help you speed up the work process and, at a minimum, be clean, which will be pleasant for both you and your client. Arrange the varnishes on the shelves, and sort other materials into plastic organizers. I advise you to choose such organizers that would allow you to see what is in them, that is, not too high, but roomy.
Convenient materials for work
Beginners very often underestimate this advice, because they believe that you can learn from cheap material, and only then acquire something more expensive and of higher quality. In fact, it is at this point that many people get stuck and cannot learn, accelerate, or understand the problems in their work. Good material is 50% of success. It is also a comfortable base that does not flow and lays down easily. These are gels that self-level.
The same applies to varnishes. It is very important for the master that the varnishes lay down in one, maximum two layers, so that they must be densely pigmented, cover the nail plate well, and at the same time do not streak.
In addition to materials, a good tool is also important. Tools are not only cutting tools, but also your brushes. Make sure that they are fresh, in no case fluffy, and the cutting tool is always sharpened on time, as it is all this together that affects the speed of your work, and the pleasure you get from it. :)
Dense recording
I think that the girls who have been working for a long time noticed that when a client comes and for no reason asks: “Oh, can you hurry, I don’t have much time, and there is only an hour”, you are somehow magical way you accelerate. Just some magic! :)
When you have a tight record, and you realize that you complete a standard service in about two hours, then put the record of the next client in exactly 2 hours. If you have a gap between clients of not two, but 4 hours, then you will also magically slow down for some reason. These are conversations with the client, and the very understanding that you have nowhere to rush.
Even if you don’t have many clients yet, try not to make a big gap in time between them, and this will “push” you to work faster.
I hope my advice will be useful to you and help you successfully organize your workflow. However, the most important thing is that with the acceleration of the duration of the procedure, the quality of the services provided is not lost, because the most important thing is the end result, which should please both the client and the master. :)
