For disinfection, we need about a liter of liquid. The calculation is carried out for one liter of a ready-made working solution. That is, this is not a liter of water and plus a concentrate, but a container of ingredients already mixed together. This means that if 5 ml of a disinfectant is needed per 1 liter of solution, then we must use 995 ml of water and 5 ml of the agent in order to get the total amount of liquid we need. With the formula above, you can never go wrong.

Add concentrate to water and stir lightly. Tools must be placed in the solution in the open form. The amount of working solution should be such that the liquid level is at least 1 cm above all the instruments laid.

The container in which your tools will lie must be with a lid, so that harmful fumes do not evaporate, and you, accordingly, do not breathe them.

We maintain the tools in the solution for the amount of time indicated in the instructions. It is also often indicated in the instructions that with any changes (precipitation, color change, cloudiness), you must change your solution. Therefore, it is generally recommended to lay cutting tools first, and only then cutters for hardware manicure, since, having laid them first, the solution will become cloudy in any case, since there is a fairly large amount of dust, skin flakes, undissolved varnish, etc. on the cutters.

After the stage of disinfection of instruments in solution, pre-sterilization cleaning should be carried out, during which all possible remaining biological materials are removed from the instruments using a brush and napkins.
