Body hair removal for men
In one of the previous articles, we considered the question of whether men need depilation as such. Today I want to discuss in more detail the areas where men depilate their hair. Our topic is the removal of body hair in men.
The amount of hair on the body is a purely individual question. Of course, fashion trends and lifestyle also affect the level of "hairiness" of men. Some males remove their body hair for sporting reasons: for example, cyclists choose to shave their legs to prevent rashes or ingrown hairs that can result from wearing tight Lycra or spandex shorts. Swimmers depilate their bodies to become more dynamic in the water, while bodybuilders remove their hair to accentuate their muscles.
There are various methods for removing body hair in men. And today we will talk with you about which method to choose, depending on the part of the body that we plan to depilate.
Brows
Oh, this famous "unibrow". :) Some guys still believe that unibrows are a sign of high temperament, which will surely conquer all the ladies. However, in reality, everything is exactly the opposite, it is rather a deterrent factor. Remember, your eyebrows should be two separate rows of hair growing over each eye, and nothing else! :)
If just a few random hairs are bothering you, use tweezers and just pluck them out. In case you are uncomfortable doing it yourself, and the eyebrows are overgrown, you can turn to a professional and choose waxing or thread hair removal. This will give you the opportunity to enjoy well-groomed eyebrows for a longer period, and you will have to show your hot temper in some other way. :)
Ears
Ear hair is important in protecting your inner ear from dust and debris. And of course, no one will advise you to poke around with piercing objects deep in your ears in order to remove all hair. But as soon as the hairs start to sprout too much, you can safely take care of them. Trim them neatly with blunt-tipped scissors, or use a small electric razor (trimmer) with an attachment designed to fit into a small space.
But with wax depilation, you should be careful, because unprofessional actions can lead to a burn of the auricle. Therefore, turn only to masters with extensive experience, or give preference to a safer method of removing hair in the ears.
Nose
Just like in your ears, the hairs inside your nose grow for good reason. However, if they are actively sticking out of your nostrils, this is a very distracting moment. :) If only a couple of stray hairs “peeped out”, they can be plucked out with tweezers. But if the hair in your nose grows in the form of bushes, then you can not do without more serious methods. :) For example, you can purchase an electric nose trimmer. These trimmers have a special cylindrical end that is inserted shallowly into the nostril and quickly cuts off excess hair.
Waxing nose hair is another effective method to get rid of unwanted hair in this area. Although the process itself can be a little painful, you will get a longer and better result, because the wax captures even the smallest hairs.
Shoulders
Due to the friction of clothes, hair on the shoulders often grows unevenly, unlike, for example, on the legs or forearms. Because of this, males with excessive hair can look a bit patchy. If this bothers you, there are several solutions to this problem. You can wax your shoulder hair or use a depilatory cream that you apply, leave for a few minutes, and then simply wipe off, or rinse with water. However, be careful with this method, because the chemicals that are part of such creams can adversely affect sensitive skin. Before use, carefully read the instructions and carry out a patch test.
Back
Despite the fact that many women are a fan of small chest hair on men, they treat back hair with less trepidation. If the hair in this area looks unaesthetic, or gives you discomfort, I advise you to pay attention to wax depilation. Waxing back hair is best left to a professional, as this is a hard-to-reach area to try to handle on your own. In addition, using wax strips for depilation at home, you risk not only not getting the desired hair removal, but also remaining smeared with wax, which then will be very difficult to wash off your back on your own.
Groin
The hair in the groin area in men is most often very dense, so we will not consider the option of plucking with tweezers. :) However, you can use a groin hair removal cream or go the more "suffering" way and remove groin hair with wax. The choice is yours.
Toes
Foot care is something that men often do not pay enough attention to. And what, under the socks you can’t see! :) And then, with the advent of the summer season and the transition to open shoes, we are seeing with might and main a fungus on the nails and "charming" bushes of hair on the toes of the strong half of humanity. To prevent this from happening, devote enough time to foot care, especially since almost every salon has a men's pedicure in the list of services.
You can get rid of hair on your toes by trimming them with scissors, but then there is a chance that the hairs will grow back even tougher. Instead, I advise you to pluck them with tweezers, or remove them with wax.
Let the expression that a man should be a little more beautiful than a monkey remain in the past. J More and more men are paying more attention to self-care. I hope my information was useful to you, and now you will be better versed in how to remove hair in a particular area. Be healthy and beautiful! :)
