3D manicure with bouillons

As you already know, I am a big fan of the original manicure options. And today I will tell you about bouillon manicure - an unusual nail design that is loved by girls all over the world!

What are broths

To be honest, until now, when I hear the word "broths", the first thing that comes to mind is hot chicken broth. :) And perhaps I'm not the only one.

Bouillons are a special material in the form of miniature round bead balls, which is used for nail design. Small beads covering the nail plate look unusual and original. That is why a manicure with broths has not lost its relevance for quite a long time.

But the appearance of the finished design evokes associations with another, more luxurious food product - caviar, so this nail art is better known in the world as "caviar manicure".

Due to the high realism and volume, this design is also called 3D manicure.

How caviar manicure appeared

The broth manicure was pioneered by the Ciate brand, which produces many nail care products. They also released the first set for creating a caviar design, which included two bottles: one of them had a special adhesive coating, and the other - a scattering of small beads.

This amazing collection was inspired by a casual photo shoot for a nail art magazine. Ciate's creative director and founder, Charlotte Knight, wanted to achieve the effect of a 3D manicure on the cover photo, and decided to use tiny colored balls to do this, which she liberally sprinkled on the nails and lips of the model.

Those who saw this photo liked the design so much that Charlotte decided to create a special collection of products that would allow you to make a design with broths even at home.

The trend quickly gained popularity, and the epithet "caviar" was firmly attached to the design, due to the frequent comparison with caviar.

Alas, the first manicure sets with broths did not stay on the nails for too long, and most often all the beauty fell off on the third day.

But the manicurists liked the idea of caviar design, and it was decided to try to apply nail broths on a more resistant gel coating. And it has borne fruit. Now you can enjoy not only beautiful, but also durable 3d manicure.

Initially, broths were produced in only three colors, but at the moment the choice is limited only by your imagination.

A variety of shades, sizes, the presence of mother-of-pearl and variations with the saturation of the color of the bouillon - everything is done so that your 3d caviar manicure becomes an extravagant decoration of any of your images.

How to make caviar manicure

One of the clear advantages of this design is that it can be done at home without special skills, however, qualified manicure masters can create a real masterpiece of nail art just using design broths. Even some of my clients are reluctant to go for a bouillon manicure, as they think that this design is limited to just covering the entire surface of the nail with beads. But in fact, broths are a very versatile material with which you can make many different designs.

Bouillons look very gentle in a wedding manicure, for example.

With the help of such small beads, you can diversify the classic red manicure, or make an original French manicure with broths on the tips of the nails.

As I already indicated a little higher, it is better to do a caviar manicure using gel polish, because such a manicure will last three times longer compared to a regular coating.

• We prepare nails, carefully degrease the nail plate
• Then we apply a base layer, as well as two layers of colored gel polish, each of which is dried in a lamp.
• Next, you need to apply the top layer and immediately pour or lay out the bouillon pattern on it.
• If you have covered the entire nail with bouillons, I advise you to slightly press on the bottom so that it adheres more tightly to the nail plate. Pay attention to the edge of the nail, in this area the broths must be attached best so that in the future it does not cling to clothes or hair.
• Again, dry everything thoroughly and cover on top with another layer of top coat, which is then also polymerized in a lamp.

When working with broths, I advise you to first place a sheet of paper under your arm. In the process, the eggs will crumble, and so it will be easier to collect them back into the jar.
